Tauni became a nurse in 1999, working for most of her career in the Emergency Department. She loved helping people through tough times, but after 16 years, the physical, emotional, and spiritual toll led her to seek a change. With a family of six, she was looking for a way to earn more without extra weekend, holiday, or night shifts. That’s when she decided to get certified in aesthetic injectables.
Once she started in aesthetics, Tauni discovered how rewarding it was to help people feel their best. She knew that to truly excel, she needed to commit to aesthetics full-time and pursue advanced training. Tauni quickly became the lead injector at her medspa and worked to build a new location in Blaine. Three years later, in 2019, she was given the opportunity to buy that location. It was a big decision, but Tauni embraced the chance to create a workplace where people love to come in and help patients feel their most confident.
Now, over two years into owning TC Medspa, the business has grown from 5 employees to 9, doubling in size year after year. Tauni is passionate about fostering a supportive, empowering culture for her team and delivering excellent results for patients. She strives to make TC Medspa a welcoming place where clients feel safe, never pressured, and always supported on their journey to feeling their best.
Tauni enjoys building personal connections with clients, listening to their stories, and being part of their self-care journey—whether it’s for a wedding, a milestone birthday, or simply a boost in confidence. At TC Medspa, clients become friends, and the team is there to help each one feel empowered and confident.

Tauni, BSN - Owner
With 22 years of nursing experience, Tauni is dedicated to providing safe and medical based treatments for enhancing her patient’s natural beauty. Prior to her training into aesthetic medicine, Tauni worked in the ER. Now she loves that she can make her patients feel their best, rather than seeing them at their worst. After many years serving patients in the same building, Tauni recently purchased the clinic and reopened as TC Medspa.
Taylor, Aesthetic Nurse Specialist
Taylor discovered her passion for aesthetics early in her nursing career. She has been a nurse since 2014, beginning in pediatrics before pursuing her goal of becoming a nurse injector. With 5+ years of experience in aesthetics and wellness and over 3 years as a results-driven injector, Taylor takes a conservative, personalized approach to enhance each patient’s natural beauty. She is dedicated to ongoing education in products, techniques, and safety to deliver exceptional results and help clients feel confident in their skin.
Amy A, AP Esthetician
Amy has been in the aesthetic industry for over 15 years! She has devoted herself to following and practicing cutting-edge skin care methods and technologies. Amy is certified with lasers, SkinPen, Hydrafacials, and VI Peels. While she offers a wide range of treatments for her clients, Amy tailors each skin care plan to the needs of their skin.
Amy S, AP Esthetician
Amy has been an Advanced Practice Esthetician since 2007 and is passionate about delivering exceptional client experiences. Known for her attention to detail and calming presence, she helps clients feel confident and comfortable in their skin. Amy stays current on the latest technologies, medical-grade skincare, and advanced laser techniques, which—along with her loyal clientele—speaks to her skill and dedication. Outside the treatment room, she enjoys spending time with her three kids and cheering them on at their sporting events.
Lindsey, Practice Manager
With years of experience managing both medspa and surgical practices, Lindsey brings a calm, confident presence to TC Medspa. She keeps operations running smoothly behind the scenes and is passionate about helping the clinic glow and grow—especially here in the Blaine community, a place she’s proud to call home. (Fun fact: she helped open the Buffalo Wild Wings right across the street!)
Outside the clinic, Lindsey enjoys diving into a good thriller novel, chasing after her energetic pup or relaxing with her two cats, and sweating it out in a hot yoga class.
Lindsey’s priority is to support the team and ensure every guest feels seen, supported, and confident. Be sure to say hello next time you're in!
Maranda, Patient Care Coordinator & Administrative Assistant
As one of the friendly faces at TC Medspa’s front desk, Maranda keeps everything running smoothly with a warm smile and a great sense of humor.
A master of multitasking (thanks to having a house full of kids!), she loves designing house plans, escaping to the Caribbean, and bringing order to any space with her passion for organization. Whether she’s welcoming clients or keeping the schedule on track, Maranda makes every visit a seamless and enjoyable experience.

Dr. Jennifer Lake, MD
Jennifer Lake, MD is board-certified in Family Medicine as well as Alternative and Integrative Medicine. Her training began with an undergraduate degree in Biology at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. She completed Medical School at the University of Minnesota-Duluth & residency at the Family Practice program at St. John’s Hospital in Maplewood, Minnesota. She began practicing as a Family Medicine Physician after graduating in 2004.
Dr. Lake supervises our medical aesthetics practice and is well-versed in complication management.
